The Peralta Project and the cool Inwood boutique, Nostylgia teamed up and released a series of vintage inspired Dominican Republic shirts just in time for the Dominican parade. The graphic tees take a different approach to the normal “I Heart D.R.” shirts you usually see during the parade.  The first tee is plastored with an image of a 1939 Indian head Peso coin in the front of the tee and and the “Escudo Dominicano” (the Dominican crest) on the back.  The Dominican crest image also being the flip side of the old coin.  The 2nd shirt is an older version of of the Dominican crest distressed and printed on a red v-neck shirt with the graphic printed in navy blue, giving you the subtle feel of the Dominican Flag’s primary and bold colors.  So, get yours before they are sold out, only a limited supply made.

Feliz Compleaño, Birthday, Born day to ME!!! Or as my really good friend likes to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!  And you know what, he is right, today is the beginning of my 36th year on this planet.  My personal clock starts off at 36:00 today.  I look back at 35 and I have to say that I am blessed.  My 35th year was a great year, it was the year of growth for me.  Towards the beginning of last year a took a big leap and stepped out of my comfort zone and haven’t looked back.  I took a step into the unknown with the mantra “EVERYTHING WILL WORK ITSELF OUT” and it has, THANK YOU GOD!  I have grown so much, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically (even though I still slack) but I try to keep a balance and not indulge so much.  I am focused and determined to be the best son, brother, friend and human being I can be.  I look forward to 36 with open hands and heart and I’m ready to embrace all the wonderful things this world has to offer. Life is an amazing journey and I look forward to what’s in store in my future, which is as bright as this mornings sun. ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD!!!!
