It’s a goal of mine to go on vacation once a year to a place exotic and that I never been to before, preferably in Europe. In my research for that destination I came across a place called Lagos (pronounce Lagosh) in Portugal. One look at it’s beaches and Lagos shot up to the top of the list of where I wanted to go. Lagos is located in southern part of Portugal in the region of Algarve. A very interesting fact I found out about Lagos and that made my trip even more meaningful was finding out that the first African Slave market took place there. My vacation was amazing and the beaches at Lagos did not disappoint. I felt very blessed and fortunate to experience the magnificent view of the Grottos that erected out of the ocean and served as the center piece of there beaches. I explored those grottos from top to bottom, from kayaking through them to hiking on top of them and visiting each beach in the towns coast. Below are some memorable snap shots of my trip. Enjoy!
